Housemates, Blessings & The Road to the Salt Sea have all been on my TBR for a while and I am stoked to get my hands on them. Esp Blessings it sounds soooo good.
Okay what made it on to the TBR:
- Shanghailanders - I am into the timeline vibe of starting in the future! 2040 to 2014 sounds wild.
- Ghostroots - sounds great. I also love anything set in Nigeria. It’s always 10/10
- Godwin - super fascinated by this and the first I’ve heard of it. Exploring the themes of capitalism & colonialism is my fav too so I’m loving that.
- God Bless You, Otis Spunkmeyer - I am the most into this title!!!!! The premise sounds right up my street and I’m fascinated at how all those themes could interplay together within someone’s life.
I just added Ghostroots the other day to my list--love to add short stories every once in a while to feel like I'm reading a bunch of little books. And the cover was immediately eye-catching.
